A playful and versatile dress made in our atelier, featuring a skirt area made from hexagons that create volume and move interestingly while you walk or dance or sit or play. The MefaMefa dress comes in different colors. Its skirt is constructed from neon aso-oke, a fabric woven on hand looms in Nigeria's south western region. The inscription, hand-stitched onto the dress in our atelier, is also from aso-oke fabric. MefaMefa means in sixes in Yoruba, as the skirt area is made from six-sided polygons.
