Etu is the name given to an indigo-dyed aso-oke fabric used mainly for chieftaincy ceremonies in Nigeria's south-western Yoruba region. First woven on 10cm-wide hand looms from cotton or anaphe silk threads, before being dipped severally into indigo dye pits to give it its deep hue, this fabric has been a mainstay of Yoruba tradition for over a century.

The Spring/Summer 2025 collection explores punk culture through a Yoruba lens, and our Etu skirt features colorful glass beads as button fastenings for a vertical slit along its knees. Keep the slit's zipper open and the buttons fastened for a peek-a-boo punk look, or keep the zip fastened for a buttoned-up look.
