Our Hind dress is in honor of Hind Rajab, a little girl I never met. Hind's voice is audible on a distress call requesting for help. Hind doesn't make it; she is killed, along with the others in the car and the paramedics dispatched to come to her rescue.
Those of us who have been or who have loved ones that have been in that desperate active-shooter situation know the horror of waiting and hoping.
We need to do better for our children.
